The Amazing Power Of Chakra Sound

Tuesday, July 22nd, 2008

by Nisal Karuiyaratna

The word chakra comes from the Sanskrit language, and means a vortex or spinning wheel. It is also used to refer to the seven chakras found in the human body, corresponding to the different glands of the body. The first chakra is found at the spinal base and the seventh at the crown. All chakras are centers of spinning energy.

Everything moving causes vibrations, and since chakras are centers of spinning energy, there is vibration here. This vibration brings about sound, which is the reason why different body parts vibrate with different frequencies at the different chakras.

Seven different chakra sounds come from the seven chakras. Colors also vibrate with the sound at different frequencies. There are different colors associated with the different chakras and it is the combination of the chakra sound and color that restores balance in chakras. This in turn improves health.

Sound healing using chakra sounds is easy to do; all that is needed is you and your voice to make you feel clearer, better and calmer within minutes. All chakra sounds should be soft and gentle, for no longer than five minutes each.

1. Sound healing starts with the deepest sound you can make, ‘UH’. This is to be done with eyes closed and attention concentrated on the base chakra of your spinal base. With this sound, you have to note the sound resonance in the body in the chakra, and not from your throat. This chakra sound can be visualized with red color and should be said for a minute or two.

2. The next chakra sound has to come from the second chakra found three inches below the naval. You have to chant ‘OOO’ while complimenting the chakra sound with orange. You have to chant with eyes closed to experience the balancing of the chakra with other chakras for one or two minutes.

3. ‘OH’ is the chakra sound from the third chakra, the navel chakra. This chakra is located in the naval area and its complimenting color is the color yellow. This chakra sound starts softly and gently but is of a higher tone than the previous sound.

4. The heart chakra is found in the middle of the chest, and its chakra sound is ‘AH’. This is the sound that is emitted when in love, and this is why the heart chakra is usually related to love. This chakra sound can be complimented with the color green and should be started with a gentle and soft sound, that is however of a higher pitch than the last chakra sound.

5. The chakra sound for the throat chakra is ‘EYE’ which is complemented by the color blue and is to be chanted at a higher pitch than previous sounds.

6. ‘AYE’ is the chakra sound for the third chakra found a bit higher than the two eyes, and in the forehead. The chakra sound is associated with indigo and has to be started with a soft and gentle tone, but should be of a higher pitch than previous sounds.

7. The crown chakra situated at the top of the head is where you chant the highest sound possible, ‘EEE’. This chakra sound is complemented with the color purple that starts with the highest sound you can make, ‘EEE’. Like other chakra sounds, this chakra sound also starts softly and gently.

You have to close your eyes when chanting all the chakra sounds while concentrating on different chakras. When you focus on the different chakras, you find chakra sounds projecting from the respective chakras. And with the resonance of the sound chakras, each chakra starts balancing and aligning with other chakras.

After the exercise, you are sure to feel light headed. It is better to relax or meditate after this to process your experience and realize the actual benefits you gain through chakra sounds.

Finding Love Online - How to Get Noticed

Sunday, July 20th, 2008

by Sarah Love

Have you ever considered online dating? Finding love online is easier than ever these days, as more and more people seek mates online. Christian Carter has a lot of foolproof advice for women who choose this route to a relationship. First of all, there are a lot of advantages to be found in online dating.

For starters, when you are hunting for a man online, you have the distinct advantage of being able to screen carefully. In other words, you are in control of the situation. Additionally, you can attract the exact sort of man you want by putting some time and effort into a profile that will attract him.

When you set up your online profile, you need to make sure that it is going to get noticed. Skimming through other womens profiles will quickly reveal to you how boring and predictable most profiles are. Be different! Tell him what you are like by telling a story about yourself, or describe a recent experience that was funny or noteworthy in some way. This is one way to really stand out from the crowd.

Another thing you are going to want top do is to set up an email account that is specific to your dating account. This should not be linked to your personal email account in any way. It will help you to know exactly who each response is coming from, as well as creating a layer of protection between you and your profile. You want to be able to delete it, need be, without it affecting your personal email account.

Your picture is worth a thousand words, so make it count. Don’t be trashy; avoid showing too much skin or being too provocative. I think we both know exactly what sort of attention that will attract, and it is definitely not the way to meet a guy with long-term potential. Make good eye contact in your picture, and sport your most winning smile. Glamour shots are never a good idea, unless you really do wear that much makeup and hairspray in real life!

When you write your profile, you want to sell yourself. One major consideration is to avoid being negative. Don’t make lists of things you don’t like, as this may make you sound like a nag. Instead, discuss what you love, things that make you laugh, and how you entertain yourself. These are the sorts of things that will make a man want to meet you.

Be sure to avoid any sort of negative talk about your exes or about other women. This will send the wrong message, and may turn away the man you are actually looking for.

If you stick to some of these guidelines in your profile, you will be shocked at how many responses you will get in the fist day. But don’t take it from me, go ahead and try it yourself.
